yep, you read it correctly, I grunged the Stampin Up Peaceful Petals, all in the name of art of course, LOL… and all for the Stamping and Blogging Sketch Challenge for this week….

It finally quit raining here in Portland and the sun popped out, and spring flowers are popping out of the garden like crazy, so it was time to get my flower on!….with a little background grunge of course!….

This week’s sketch from Stamping and Blogging has a cute layered sentiment piece,

SB47

So I created mine with the Designer Frames Embossing Folder and then layered it over the Labels Collection framelits (second from the center)

and colored and cut out a few flowers and leaves to embellish it with….Looks hard right? It’s so easy just two ink pad lids and my Aqua Painter!….The strip across the bottom, was embossed with the Delicate Designs Embossing Folders.

I love how it provided some beautiful texture for my background, and then of course I had to add the Gorgeous Grunge Stamps and Off the Grid,  behind my painted flowers for some added depth to the picture I was creating.

Hi everyone, I’m Lee Conrey from Jacksonville Florida, I have a wonderful supportive Husband of almost 45 years whom I adore, I’ve also got two grown sons and two beautiful grandchildren.

I have been a Stampin Up Demonstrator for 9 years and I can’t believe how fast time goes when you are having fun.  I started in 2006 and earned Rising Star.

It was my great honor to be nominated and to receive the “Statement of the Heart Award” from Stampin Up! two years ago.  It is the biggest honor one can receive and there is only one person that receives it out of 50,000 Demonstrators.  This award is for doing good things in your community or helping others.  I received a gold Tiffany heart necklace presented to me by Shelli Gardener on Stage at our Annual Convention…..Total highlight of my career.  I am one of the fortunate ones that has incorporated Charity Events into my business and do Big Stamping Events with my team in my area to help organizations in need.  It’s been such a blessing in my life.

I have also been fortunate to have earned five of the Stampin Up! Incentive trips, Alaska Cruise, Trip to Disney, Fiji and soon a fabulous Cruise to the Caribbean, after that, it’s off to Hawaii.

So as you can see, I do love what I do and share what I love, Paper Crafting is so much more than just stamping!….LEE.
